Kris Jordan for State Senate

Thank you for visiting my website. Since taking office, I have talked to thousands of my fellow citizens in the 19th District, and many of them seem to share similar concerns – spending is out of control, and our freedoms and values are being threatened.

As a State Representative and two-term Delaware County Commissioner, I stood up against big spenders from both parties. As a Commissioner, I successfully cut property taxes and fought to pass a balanced budget every year I was on the Commission. As a State Representative, I voted against Ted Strickland’s fiscally irresponsible budget. I have never voted for a tax increase and have offered innovative proposals as alternatives to tax increases.

In 2011, we have taken great strides toward a return to prosperity in Ohio. In June, I proudly voted to restore balance to our state's budget by closing an $8 billion deficit without raising taxes while eliminating onerous requirements on our state's businesses and job creators by eliminating job-killing policies such as the "Death Tax."

I am an across-the-board conservative who has stood up for freedom, traditional values, and 2^nd Amendment rights. With your help, I will continue to take my unmatched conservative record to the State Senate and fight for the values we hold dear.

I don’t think elected officials should be held to a ‘separate standard’ than other government workers or other people who receive a paycheck from the taxpayers.
